If you are a Satanic student in a public school/college, you must know your rights in order to fight potential discrimination and/or confusion on what you are allowed or not allowed to do. REMEMBER: Always check multiple sources to confirm your legal rights as a student in your state.
- You can wear Satanic clothing, jewelry, and pins/buttons with Satanic symbols, especially if other students can wear their religious clothing.
- You can discuss Satanism with those who want to discuss it during non-instructional time.
- You can provide Satanic literature to others who ask for them during non-instructional time, and the school/campus does not have to preview the literature beforehand.
- You can engage in free speech during instructional time, as long as the speech is on-topic with the class. Though do not make Satanism your only topic of discussion with anyone.
- You can refuse to stand or speak the Pledge of Allegiance or the National Anthem. If you want to, you can refuse to speak the "under god" part.
- You can give spoken and written reports on Satanic topics during instructional, as long as the report or presentation is on-topic with the class. Though you can do so during non-instructional time whenever you wish.
- You can show-and-tell Satanic objects during instructional time, as long as they are on-topic with the assignment. Though you can do so during non-instructional time whenever you wish.
- If you believe another teacher/staff member is also a Satanist, you can discuss your beliefs together during non-instructional time, if the teacher/staff member is comfortable with it.
- You can form a Satanic club and/or host Satanic events as long as there are other religious clubs/events present. Satanic clubs must be treated the same as other religious clubs, including equal access to the bulletin board, intercom system, annual club fair, school/college newspaper, yearbook, copy machine, financial sponsorship, or any other benefit or facility that other religious clubs have access to. - Pay attention to school board elections and meeting dates, in order to prevent hateful organizations from infiltrating your school.

- You CANNOT promote Satanism over another religion to students.
- You can take time out of your workday to engage in a small, private ritual before/after class.

- You can study Satanic literature, as long as you include other religious literature as well, with all discussion remaining on-topic with the class.
- You can play Satanic music in your classroom via a holiday music playlist, as long as secular music is also played.
- You can display Satanic holiday material, as long as secular symbols are also presented.

If you are a teacher/staff member at a public school/college that already has a vocal religious community present, you can engage in non-problematic, legal activities to kickstart a Satanic community that can come out happily and thrive.
- Contact The Satanic Circle about your wish to kickstart a Satanic community at your school/campus and we will assist you.
- Come out as a Satanist to trusted colleagues and explain your religion to those who want to hear about it. However, cease your discussion with anyone who says they do not want to hear about it.
- Wear Satanic jewelry and/or clothing to openly show your religion to those around you, while boosting your confidence.
- Donate Satanic literature to your school/college's library, which makes it more accessible to those who want to read or study it.

- Offer to support any progressive, student-led Satanic group that is starting/has started at your school/campus. Remember, legally the students must lead these groups, though you should offer assistance and attend their meetings. - Always remember to report any discrimination or harassment towards Satanist and other religious groups to the Freedom From Religion Foundation. - While you should not encourage or promote Satanism to your students, you can still be a Satanist in the classroom by offering assistance, being understanding, and allowing students to come to you when they need a one-on-one chat about personal things. Always use a student's preferred-name and pronouns. Finally, make sure to report students and staff that engage in bigotry towards others for their race, religion, sexuality, gender-identity, etc.
You can be an incredible Satanic teacher for your public school/college by being active, supportive, and willing to go far and beyond for yourself and those you love, while proudly wearing your Satanic jewelry on you.
