OUR MESSAGE TO PUBLIC SCHOOL STAFF & FACULTY:
We are protected by religious freedom laws in all 50 states. While you aren't required to agree with us, by law you are required to respect the deeply-held beliefs of your Satanist students as a public government institution.
We at The Satanic Circle believe deeply in Order III, meaning corporal punishment, restricting bathroom breaks and refusing to tolerate our gender-identity and pronouns are violations of our religious liberty.
Failure to respect these rights is a violation of the First Amendment and will result in lawsuits.
Corporal Punishment
Satanist students are excempt from corporal punishment. Using physical violence against satanists threatens our bodily autonomy and is a violation of our religious freedom.
Use of Restraints/Solitary Confinement
Satanist students are excempt from restraints and solitary (also known as quiet rooms) as punishment. Solitary threatens and restricts our bodily autonomy and is a violation of our religious freedom.
Restriction of Bathroom Access, INCLUDING BATHROOMS NOT MATCHING MY SEX
Satanist students are excempt from restrictions on bathroom access, including bathrooms that don't match the satanist's sex. Refused access to use the bathroom threatens our bodily autonomy and violates our religious beliefs.
Restriction of Religious Attire
Satanist students are excempt from bans on hoodies, dyed hair, pride flags, tattoos and religious symbols.
Hoodies are an example of religious attire, as like robes, they're a symbol of Satanic patriotism and an embrace of spirit.
Pentagrams and inverted crosses are also examples of religious attire, as they're the symbols of Satan. While many of you may be offended by these symbols, these are integral and protected symbols of our religion.
Hair is also an important part of who we are. Whether students want to dye their hair, put beads in it, or style it a specific way, they have the right as a satanist to do so and are excempt from hairstyle guidelines.
Satanists are not required to wear any of these, as we believe in free will, however if a student chooses to wear these, they are allowed to and excempt from any rules restricting these examples of religious attire.
Refusal to Accept Gender-Identity, SEXUALITY, Preferred Name and Pronouns
A satanist's gender-identity, preferred name and pronouns are part of their bodily atonomy. Satanic students are allowed to join whichever gendered sports team and bathroom matches their gender-identity. While you don't have to agree with their identity, you must tolerate and acknowledge it out of respect for their religious beliefs.
